A journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima

As true insiders, we will never tire of repeating it: the Venetian Villas are not only museums but also precious treasure chests of a thousand secrets, including their strong link with the wine production of the territory. For this reason, the Consorzio Vini Venezia together with the Associazione Ville Venete decided to give life to the event “La Villa, il Vino e Venezia: un viaggio alla scoperta dei territori della Serenissima”. An event that will be repeated for three Sundays in November in three different Venetian Villas where participants will have the opportunity to discover the rouge file that has always united wine to the Villa.

The events will take place on Sunday 5 November at Villa Tiepolo Passi in Carbonera (TV), Sunday 12 November at Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari in Mira (VE) and Sunday 19 November at Villa Reichsteiner in Piavon di Oderzo (TV). The event in its entirety was born to make known the wine and its connection with the villas to journalists, industry operators, consumers but also to enthusiasts, thus becoming a privileged meeting point to deepen different themes.

Three autumn events that will combine with great elegance the eternal beauty of the Venetian Villas, with guided tastings of the wines of the DOC Piave, DOC Lison Pramaggiore, DOC Venezia, DOCG Malanotte and DOCG Lison and wines from native vines such as Lison, Raboso, Refosco p.d.r and Incrocio Manzoni. Winetasting that will take place in collaboration with Ais Veneto, to discover the great art of the past finally lived in a key of conviviality and contemporary culture. During the event it will be possible to participate in guided tours inside the Villas lasting one hour and then continue with guided tastings, a real exhibition that embraces cultural and wine themes.

Useful information and programme

To participate in the event you will need to register via the Eventbrite platform. Please note that during booking at the event you need a payment of 15€, inclusive fee for the guided tour in the Villa which will follow a free guided tasting of the denominations of the Consorzio Vini Venezia. The fee will be donated to the Ville Venete Association.
