Status Update 2025

During 2025, the main activities planned under the project were launched, structured into the following areas:

1 – Coordination

• 1.1 – Notarial deed, establishment of the Committee, monitoring and coordination: establishment of the Operational Group, project kick-off, coordination among partners and management of administrative and reporting activities.
• 1.2 – Meeting management and minutes: organisation of technical meetings and preparation of the relevant minutes.
• 1.3 – Reporting: preparation of technical documentation and tools for collecting supporting documents and reporting.

2 – Vineyard

• 2.1 – Analysis of pilot farms: profiling of the farms, collection and analysis of data on plant-protection and irrigation practices, and completion of questionnaires.
• 2.2 – Sustainability Protocol: analysis of farm practices and active substances used, soil surveys and start of the Sustainability Protocol.
• 2.3 – Performance Index – WebApp: collection of pilot-farm data, development of performance indicators and preparation of the calculation system for the WebApp.
• 2.4 – Validation of the measurement tool: activity planned for the subsequent stages of the project.

3 – Winery

• 3.1 – Analysis of the winery Carbon Footprint indicator: collection of data from the six wineries, Carbon Footprint calculation and preparation of audits.
• 3.2 – Analysis of the Carbon Footprint indicator for calculating the site-specific grape emission factor: start of data collection and activities required to calculate the grape Carbon Footprint.
• 3.3 – Analysis of the winery Water Footprint indicator: completion of data collection from the six wineries and start of the Water Footprint calculation.

4 – Dissemination and Communication

• 4.1 – Website and press office: creation and publication of the multilingual project website section and launch of communication activities.
• 4.2 – Video tutorials and podcasts: activity planned for the subsequent stages of the project, with topics and methods for producing the contents being defined.
• 4.3 – Workshops: activity planned for the subsequent stages of the project.
• 4.4 – Participation in rural networks and AKIS: participation in AKIS activities, preparation of project documentation and inclusion of the project in the Operational Groups database.
• 4.5 – Sustainability Report: activity planned for the subsequent stages of the project, with the structure of the Sustainability Report to be defined.
