Venezia Wine Consortium
Founded in 2011 from the merger of the DOC Lison Pramaggiore and Vini del Piave DOC Protection Consortia, the Venezia Wine Consortium aims to promote and protect the wines produced in a unique territory, historically dedicated to viticulture for centuries, which also includes the city of Venice.
The area under the protection of the Venezia Wine Consortium includes the provinces of Venice, Treviso, and Pordenone, as well as the Lison DOCG and Malanotte del Piave DOCG designations, the Venezia DOC, and the two historic DOCs of Lison-Pramaggiore and Piave. The Consortium will be involved in disseminating the results and information derived from the project to stakeholders.
